Hi folks, thanks for your comments. I really liked this scene but felt the light was letting me down so I was trying to salvage it. I was unsure about the results myself. Here is two more of the same image number 1 has been processed a little in Photoshop and number 2 is untouched.
Thanks For looking.
Thanks for your comments.
I tried a simple crop on the first on and I think it really improved it. I’ll have to have a go at that video tutorial tonight.
In response to shutterbug.
I agree with you on it being a little overdone. I had tried doing a bit less photoshop on it but then I felt it didn’t have the same impact. I suppose it’s about finding a happy medium. Hopefully that will come with practice.
Thanks for the feedback Kristina I’ll have a go at straighten it. I’m trying hard to improve so any advice is gratefully received. I’ll hopefully take some more at the weekend and post next week.
Thanks for the feedback. You know you are right in regards to the whites. Now that you have mentioned it really stands out. I’m using a 350d with the kit lens however I adjusted the levels in Photoshop and this is probably what caused the issue with the whites. It is something will try and watch for in the future. Here are the three originals in case you’re interested.
