I just bought a 16-35 off a guy whom is now selling a 100-400. He had the 100-400 that was spanking new..it looked amazing. I can point you in his direction or vise versa if you send me your number in PM. Think he looking 1,150 but you may get for 1,000, I sold mind for 1,000.

No problem, totally understand but I have my own budget & just thought for quick sale straight cash ready you might like to go for it. I saw a much lower level of a sub (no way near as quick as yours) that I shall maybe venture towards.

I am very much interested in a good setup similar to yours listed below. I have taking a look at the reviews & feel this is a top setup. I was only planning to make an offer for a lower graded system but I am in the middle off selling two laptops (1 completed) etc so I would like to go the extra mile.

Good Lens if price is what you are seeking..Plastic quality build is ok but just be aware of the AF (Auto Focus) function is very noisey and usually not posssible on alot of these lenses. I still vote by along shot the Canon, save and go for that, its proven and quality and worth the extra 100 Euro *wink*

Enjoy the decision making & let me know how you go with the Tamron if you end up going for it.
