Have you any shots a bit closer to see more of the castle?

No, nothing closer, all my shots are roadside. There are access issues going on at the moment with this place :(

Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate all of them.

pixelle, #2 is straight from the camera, 30sec exposure … thanks for the tips on the composition, that is something I really have to work at … cheers

Mr. H, Yep these were taken at around 6.30am -7.30am last Thursday morning :D … It was my first time up there at that hr of the day, actually my first time trying to take photos anywhere that hr of the day … #2 is a 30sec exposure and for me is a little dark, although I like to blue effect generated that hr of the morning … #1 is my fav although I found it extremely difficult to get the exposure right … there are lots of shadows in the upper like in the early morning as the sun rises behind you …

slang61 … I like the blue myself, the shoot is a long exposure of approx 30 sec

    thanks all …

Interesting … Personally I’ve come late to photography and started with a digital SLR …
now I’m going backwards (technology wise), only 6 months ago I bought myself a canon A1 and a 50mm lens … the images from this 1970’s camera is, well, as go as if not better then the DSLR … although I do scan the negs.
my usage of Digital v film is probably 50-50 …
I think Film still has a long life ahead of it … particularly for those into B&W. I wouldn’t sell the nikon …

    Hi,

I’m sure there would be some interest (and here’s one) but more detail is needed …
what specific camera model?, what lens(es) – exact details?, what kinda usage has it had and what condition is it in?, when was it last used? … and what ball park are we looking at?

    thanks

Ignore the sensor dust, I’ve got the cleaning kit for 6 months now but I’m not brave enough to do this yet!!!
