Thanks for the comment Goosebanker, your spot on about the fish being slightly soft. Pity, as you said it’s v hard to focus on the fish with everything going on.
Funnily enough it’s not actually an anemone it’s a torch coral. If there’s no anemone in an aquarium Clown fish will take up residence in pretty much anything. Before I got the torch coral I used to find my two wee clowns sleeping on top of one of the pumps.
There real characters, beautiful wee fish and dead cheeky!
If you read the article, he is yammering on about a design flaw that seen alot of these lenses leaking lubricant onto the diaphragm blades. How would I check if this was the case for the gf’s lense (what are diaphragm blades?!). She has definately had it well over 10 years.
So I bit the bullet and purchased a Nikon D90 w/ 18-105mm. I ended up heading up to Sprucefield outside Lisburn and bought it in an Argos (£744 = €850). Worked out cheaper than Jessops and Calumet plus €200 saved on the South (sorry Irish economy).
Anyway the camera seems fantastic. And the pics look great compared to my wee Fuji Finepix F31d. I guess I can’t really say how good it is as I don’t have the experience to compare. But I’m sure it’ll do me good for years to come!
What do you use the deionised water for (I’m new to photography). The reason why I ask is I keep a marine tank and have a RO/DI unit and have this stuff literally on tap!
My guess is as there’s zero TDS you can use it to clean lenses?
