I love this. My eye travels out along the landscape stopping off at the farmhouse and then heading on to the islands. It reminds me of a John Hinde shot (I love his stuff), beautiful greens and blues. Makes me smile and makes me want to be there. Only critique, is the watermark, I find them very distracting and annoying but of course thats a whole other well flogged debate.

One of the most over photographed places in Ireland, Ive seen a 1000 shots of this diving platform, but here you nailed it. Its a great composition, very interesting angle and of course well done for getting up and getting the great light. Great zig zag leading lines in the concrete. Only critique is the brightness of the wall to the right, it draws the eye over there and distracts. I might have burned it a little in PP to darken it a little.

Lovely shot and well done on your exposure !. Did you light the tree from the front , bottom of trunk would suggest you did or is it multiple layered exposures?. Nice light trail coming frm the sun . I would clone that red glare in the tree as it draws the eye away slighty. Lovely work and your other shots posted too. Welcome to the site also!.

See that’s why I love honest feedback, I never even noticed that red glare til you pointed it out. As I say, I’m a lifetime learner. Thank you so much for the great advice. I’ve updated the photo with the flare cloned out.

I used a speedlight hand held and fired remotely from the camera to light the tree. I also tried a few twin exposures but this shot had the best overall lighting and the hint of reflection of the sun on the stones in the foreground.

…also thanks to you Jenny for the comments
