Fantastic stuff there Ross. You’ve managed to work together the lighting and the model to produce some images which connect with the viewer. My favourite is No 3. The hair is just a tad too untidy and distracting for me in No.4 but I love the ‘eye’ she is giving me!

I like the lighting on Drew’s shot in this series, makes me think I wouldn’t want to meet this guy down a side street at night ..And I’d like to see that shot in B&W too…

Thanks for noticing the lighting Si. I attended a workshop a couple of weeks ago – must give you the name of the presenter some time (lol).

Thanks for your comments Rob. Right and wrong. The sky actually is as shot – it was a beautiful evening last August, winter in Oz. The land has had midtones lightened and dodged. The figure actually is from another shot, set into this to give a point of focus. I fully accept your very perceptive criticism and ‘tip my hat’ to you. You’ll notice that I’ve done a quick edit!
