There are some old ruins right at the bottom of Pigeon House Road, just before you get to the old Power station. Been a while since I was there but I was brought up in Ringsend.

Every shot looking up? Who’d have thunk
there was so much to see right over your head?
I bet your neck is in rag order today

Great shots all of them as usual.

I believe that an Artist will often use Science to help him realise his vision and a Scientist, upon being exposed to great Art, will apply his scientific knowledge to working out why that sample of Art is great.

I’ve just got in after a twelve hour night shift so I hope that makes sense

I can see the intent, but it is a bit dodgy to my eye. I’m no expert on photography, and I know even less about motorbikes but it seems to be too fast and furious and loses a lot of detail by that.

When I look closely all I can really see is the BMW logo.

A tiny little bit oversharp, but that could be my monitor.. no disrecpect intended.

I began, on New Years Eve, a gallery called “Pic of the Day”.

The idea being that I have to add a pic every day for the rest of the year. It is proving a bit tricky after a twelve hour shift and darkness is everywhere so I have been fooling around with domestic objects on those nights. I learn a little more each time I do my daily pic and hope, after a year of this, to have come closer to finding my own voice, so to speak.

Up to now it has been mainly Landscape/outdoor work for me due to the proximity of some lovely scenery here in North Lincs.

Street shooting appeals to me but being a six foot tall shaven headed Dub, with a very strong Northside accent I have had a few funny looks when asking people for permission to shoot them in this small English town

    Lovely work.

The first two remind me of the guys who used to “park” the cars around Parnell Square back about twenty odd year ago.

I can see what you mean.
I spent over half my life in the Mun and have seen the regeneration project a few times when on holiday.

A lot of interesting pics here.
You might have to register to see them but it’s free and safe.

    Great shot…

When I go back to Dublin I cannot believe the price of the drink. When I get back here it’s like buy one, get one free.

Lovely composition and detail…well thought out.

A nailbrush for the Barman would not go amiss.

Thanks for all the tips and wise advice.
Cropping is not something I think about very often but I am slowly getting the idea into my head.
I have learnt a lot in my short time here..thank you one and all.

    Dave.
