Apologies for the delay in getting it back to you.

You’re absolutely right. There’s a lot about the composition that isn’t great but I guess it’s what the picture means to me that makes me like it so much.

Must try to separate emotion and composition in future. :)

Thanks. The F40 shot is one of my favourites. There’s some HDR going on in each of them that I processed in CS5.

Look forward to your shots and I hear you about the people! It took me forever to get a clear shot of the back of a Lambo and even then there are people in it!

Thanks so much. I actually find what you said so helpful. I knew I liked some aspects of the image and some I didn’t but I couldn’t pinpoint what exactly. Your comments have pointed out pretty much exactly what I was subconsciously aware of.

We go out there quite a bit as our 2-year-old loves animals so I’ll try a better composition.

Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I love this forum. :)

RAS, I was looking at the picture in the frame today and had a similar thought myself.
Too easy to up the contrast in PS!
Would have loved a crab in #2. Might be better off using PS to add one in! ;)
