The composition is very minimalist and I enjoy that. The winter mood results in a soft and beautiful light that end up great with the subject.

Congratulations John.. Your work is terrific!!

Beautiful moment this one, of an animal that I once photographed too. The definition is great, I only suggest more light to improve those colours.

    Thanks Andy

The sky and all the weather conditions were difficult to evade. But, as you say, I tried to use that the best way I new. The autumn colours look great with a more direct and bright light, but I learn to love this winter atmosphere in my trip to Ireland. I?m glad you like it Andy.

Fantastic shot Rod!!!! The blur of the background and the movement of the subject really brings live and dynamism to the shot. Creative and stunning view!!

The photo is great.. conversion, the combination of lights and shadows and the straight perspective of the structure. Probably it would be great too without that dark zone of the bottom. (Hope you understand me)

    Hi Lorraine,

We?ve probably been there at the same time! I visited the Green that same weekend, but I had to run, had just a few days to see everything. The autumn tones were a little enhanced by the selective colour and saturation, to bring up those characteristic colours. And as you said, it was taken from the bridge. I have try that panoramic crop, thanks for the tip.

I think my favourite remains the first one too.

    Thanks a million Lorraine

Thanks guys, once again for your welcoming!! I kind enjoyed the weather, it started raining exactly at the time I arrived and I embraced that the best way I know. The streets of Dublin look just amazing with all that rain. It was tree unforgettable days!! I only had time to see Dublin, Killiney, Dalkey and D?n Laoghaire. I have to show you my other pictures of these places.

    Thanks

Well, despite the slight over exposure, that blown sun really brings some magic to the photo. Beautiful place D?n Aonghasa

I don?t know what you did to the water but it?s amazing. Divine colours and reflections. The minimalism of the composition works perfectly too.
