Nr 3 for me too. I’m a fan of taking a landscape image in portrait format and it works really well here, great dof and something for the eye to look at back, mid and foreground. Well done :)
Thank you all for the feedback :) I’m quiet new to Elements and working with levels. I know sometimes its down to personal taste but I find thats the hardest thing to figure out… when have you gone too far.
Nfl – the halo thingie seems to be reflected off the stamen (?) onto the petals. I didn’t notice that until you pointed it out. :)
I started on aperture, everyting was aperture related. I think once you understand what the settings can do, then you experiment. Everyone here is so helpful that in no time you’ll see a difference in your shots.
The top photograph has some lovely qualities, what i really like about it is the colour or the lack of multi colours, in this case just 3 (green, yellow and brown). Next time maybe look at your composition, for example move the horizon line down or up or have people/animals etc face into the image.
Sharon, you love food, you can tell and you are photographing what you love and that really makes sense :D You also have a natural flair for composition, so you go girl.
