    also forgot to say to check your scanner setting, some scanners have descreen and dust removal setting on your pc and they generally give a preview too, might help with the scan part of the issue

    thats a tricky one, the only real way is to process it is through photoshop, using the clone tool and a bit of masking should do the trick.The background is relatively simple, the hardest part is when it comes to the person, due to the different tones, it takes time.Softening the image and cleaning it up with software might bring it up also.
