Not scary as such, but the original Dutch-French co-production of the Vanishing disturbed me no end. Forget about the crap US remake.

Also, as a kid, the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was the scariest thing ever put on celluloid. Another film that scared me as a child was an American Werewolf in London – to this day it’s still my favourite movie :oops: Didn’t get to see the screening in Cineworld over the weekend though, sigh.
