Cheers for the comments guys :) It was reasonably calm but still some waves coming in so i chose the long exposure to smooth the water. i have ones where the water is just frozen, might post it for a comparison when i get a chance.

The Skerries and Mull of Kintyre image is definitely my favourite, totally agree that it would look great large on the wall.

Lol Steve, i wanted to use the Big Stopper but they were in a bit of a rush to head for drinks and 5 minute exposures is a long time to stand still ;)

Thanks for the comments John & Jenny, Glad you like them. Bit out of my comfort zone doing this sort of thing but its something i want to improve and expand on. I will be doing second shooter with a pro wedding photographer starting next year so looking forward to getting the experience.

Thanks for the comments everyone, i agree about cropping the sky on the first one. I dont really want to lose any more sky on the second but it possibly could take a little desaturation. It was quite a blue twilight

I would need to check the original file for exact settings, cant remember them but i used my Singh Ray Reverse ND Graduated filter to hold back the sun.
