great minds and all that… as i was browsing down the pics and comments i was thinking it would be best in a combo of colour and B&W and then low and behold as if by magic there it was .. gets my 10 out of 10 just for the telepathy alone… great
i can see the graphic appeal it has and thats propably why they picked it and it may have been a designer and not a photographers choice… just a thought
yes “ming the merciless” has been captured well and may i say it was all over in a flash… as he came straight from work though i think we could have done with a few changes of clothing to make the most of his evil looking side.. lol but well done for getting those shots up so quickly i was still leaving him home when u were processing..
i can live with it as it is as abeauty come fashion shot , the ear is probably the only thing that might improve the perspective but i dont think it neccessary and would be sure that a picture editor for a magazine would make many uses of this image… is the model a hairdresser?
you have done a great job with the book and hand but please u will get used to the top crop andit really does bring the subject out more strongly .. and possibly lose the line in the wall near the nose… being picky but now it catches my eye i cant look past it…lol keep shooting and finding pics like this
well spotted shot and the second one is better as it could now tell a story of some guy ditched by his girl…or am i just a romantic..lol the only thing i would like to see worked on are the two highlights on the post things between the two figures as they are really bugging me and i cant stop looking at them….
i think if u rework the original you can solve the burnt out highlights in the book and the over done black in the jacket as it shows in the other close up hte detail is there… also crop the top ofthe original to lose the buildings even though you will cut off part of the hair of the subject it wont matter in the overall composition … you have a good eye for images keep shooting
