Just found an email on this from a while ago – which says that going by 1dcount its 23,727. This camera is rated for 150,000 before shutter replacement so there’s a ways to go yet. Any more questions let me know.

I am selling either of 2 – I believe the lowest one is approx 5k actuations. I can confirm with cancount when I get home today. From what I recall (open to correction) its rated by canon for 150k actuations before shutter replacement.

No its mentioned to give a rough indicator to Irish shop prices (ie the expensive ones of Conns) at the moment. The lens is covered by a mack international warranty – it says ‘3 year international warranty’ on the card which is still sealed in its packet.

also ebay for guide prices comparative to the condition this one is in.

For the camera we need to know the model, kind of covering it has – condition and so on, for lenses the aperture and focal length – ie 50mm 1.4 etc Post back with more details and I am sure it will sell soon enough.

I cant really decide whether I like this or not. Its distinctive alright which is usually a good thing. I reckon if you put a little miniature mars rover in the foreground you could probably pass it off as something sci fi.

Is there any chance you could run through the steps involved ? I know you said ’20 mins twice through photomatix and some lighting effects’ but I mean specifically ? No probs if its too much hassle to type it all out – just curious. Definitely more interesting than the average landscape.
