    Hi Gerard,
Is your Nikon D5000 package still for sale? If so, I’ll make an offer of €425.00
I’ll be in Dublin from Thursday evening to Saturday morning and perhaps we could meet then.
Please send a PM if interested.
    regards

    hi everyone
i see you’re visiting W Cork this weekend. I probably won’t make Glengarrif but might tag along for the Sunday session in Ross. Anyone want a spin from Skibb just drop me a line
The An Post Cycle race passes thru Skibb on Sunday (dont know if this was already mentioned) and goes to Cork via Ross, so roads will be closed i suppose.
The Clonakilty Camera club has its annual exhibition in the Celtic Ross Hotel.
Look forward to meeting you all. What time will you be in Ross?
Baby Hannah’s is a good pub as is The Corner Bar just opposite on Bridge Street ( Trad music taken v seriously with lots of “cunas” (sic))

Congrats to Kevin, Mark and Adam. As already mentioned a great competition and one that had me scratching my head wondering what to do.
The Decisive Moment round turned out to be very indecisive indeed
Thanks Mark for the organising ….. a tour de force. And thanks to everyone for the votes
To quote Arnie ” I’ll be back”

    Hi thommac
Hadn’t heard of this esoteric branch of photography before, so checked it out and found http://www2.uiah.fi/~ttrygg/camera.html tarja.trygguiah.fi who is experimenting away in Finland
She gives instruction on how to make a pinhole camera and will even send one out to you.
Yeah its long term and if we have a summer like last year there’ll be an awful lot of gaps, but thats not going to happen this year is it!

Yes it was a pet day, though when we got to the top of Sheep’s Head the mist came rolling in from the sea for about 1/2 hour.

Very little done in PS. Just a touch of levels, a crop to make them square if needed and a play around with a blurred border.
Oh yes and just a very little vignette. About 5 minutes at the most.
I must have got a lens made on a Tuesday because it is lovely and sharp in the middle. Just working out the distance where its at its best for the landscape setting.
The colour is dreamy and thats probably because the film is old well out of date.
