Thanks for your comments guys! Fixed no.2 Ras…. Tried to capture a shot of the large waves which were coming ashore on a relatively calm afternoon(last two images). Aswell as the milky sun…. That mountain, seaview, is Croagh Patrick ( co.mayo), looking at it from the east.
Forgot to embed the photos onto the page, it’s done now. Yes I to tried to include something in the foreground, but all that was available at the time was an electricity pole. Thanks for your comment. :)
That’s a nice photo, I especially like the wind ravaged tree. I’m new to photography, but maybe it could’ve done with more of that lovely sky, instead of all the long grass in the foreground? That’s just my opinion anyway. :)
Thanks very much for your help. I now know how to embed my photos on to the site. Those photos were taken from my facebook page, as I don’t know how to upload them directly from my SD card. Could you help me with this please? :)
Thanks very much tex! “original”, that’s a lovely compliment! None of these photos were planned, I remember taking these after saying to myself ” oh, must run and get my camera!” :). I’ve taken your advice on board, will learn from my mistakes!
Hi Shutterbug! thanks very much for taking the time out to comment. Much appreciated!…..I’m not that good at computers,so have to learn how to embed my photos. The first photo I took is indeed very strange and for that reason i personally like it. We had a little fire, and my brother was standing behind the smoke. The sun projected his shadow onto the rising smoke, and if you look really closely you can see that he is about to walk forward.
In the second photo, I intended to have most of the focus on the setting sun and just have the outline of the flowers (chives). I agree with you on the third photo, there is too much sunlight been reflected off the water. It would look better without the top bit. I have alot more photos to share, so will try and find out how to embed them first.
