Looks fairly sharp Dan. Only criticism would be that they’re not the best specimens, ie not perfect in colour

Don’t think that the vignetting adds anything to be honest. There is nothing in the picture
but the bird and space so you couldn’t but be drawn into the bird.
Also I tihnk that there is a little bit too much sky and too little bird.

On the plus side the exposure looks good and the image is sharp.

Reminds me of an Eliot Porter photograph. Was he as all in your mind at the time of the shot?
I like the straight dynamic lines of the cross while the three clutches of limpets
follow the ‘odds’ rule for a pleasing photograph. Interesting

He’s a class act. I think that Leica gave him a specially number camera this year
which he auctioned off for charity
