Yeah I was looking at the 50mm but the crop on my camera means its a 75mm which is to long for me… I tend to prefer the wide angle side of things, even a 35mm (50mm with crop) is a step forward for me:)

What is not to much? I recomend the 10-20mm Sigma. at ?475 its not a monster when compared to others. Its also built very well and is quite impressive in terms of sharpness especially when you stop it down to F8. As for distortion there is a bit (a fair amount to be honest when down to 10mm) but what can you expect from a 10mm lens? Its wide enough to fit Mary Harney in it…

If you’re not going massive in terms of interpolation using bicubic in Photoshop will give you as good results as any of the stand alone programs…. If you want to go huge then you might be better off hitting Fractals or something like that.
