Amazing, it almost doesn’t even look organic anymore. Almost like sheets of metal or something. I’d imagine that technique would open a world of possibilities for abstracts…
Thanks Dallan! I still have the 7D – I use it with my long lens sometimes to get a bit more reach for wildlife etc. I find using a telephoto compresses the bluebells together and makes them look a lot more dense than they really are. Still, there’s a nice carpet out in Derreen, & I’m assuming they’re still there. The cold weather might be helping to preserve them a bit…
I’ve spent a bit on cameras over the last year alright…but that’s stopped for the foreseeable future because I’m getting married in December :)
I have been using Amazon for electronics and others items for about 10 years now and have never had a single problem with them. In fact, many of my orders have arrived before the estimated date.
As for the whole thing about keeping my Euros on the island, I’d love to, but I’m not going to be charged above the going rate, it’s basic free-market competition. If Irish suppliers are finding that they are losing out, then they can easily reduce their prices and stop ripping us off – there’s something wrong with the idea that I can buy the same item and have it delivered from the UK for less than I can buy it for here when I go into the shop myself. :)
