What is it you feel connects the three of them? What is the dialog between the images? What do 3 say that one does not on its own? What happens if you take one away?
If you were to display them in a space would how would they be arranged?
These are the sorts of thing that would be going through my head with any set of images.
really like them all, as you say great expressions and really nicely picked out with the short depth of field.
if i had to pick a weak one it’d be the last –
maybe crop out the floating lamp poking in from the top of the frame
darken down the shadows to make the guards into silhouette rather than the kinda sorta way they are now?
i do like the way the lamps in the left are white and he long dramatic shadows come down the pavement
I’m amazed that the people are that sharp given the shutter speed.
the piece of pine tree in the top right corner is unfortunate.
i would like to see what it looked like with the yellow tree area on the left (as far as the broad leaved flax, the start of the third W) cropped out so the image was dark green one side and yellow the other…
