Cheers for the help folks.

Am awaiting on the arrival of a couple of ND filters and since that photo i have got an ND grad but its a screw on so a little bit limited. Your crop defo works better John should have done the same myself but got a bit cought up in deciding to lose the water or not.

Just on a side not only found this forum a recently and i have to admit i’m very impressed. Spent a lot of time just reading post and trying to pick up with i can and have to admit it has been a lot. Even found out we have an Irish Airforce :) . Keep up the good work folks and hopefully i’ll learn a lot more from you guys. Especially the regular posters you know who you are (didnt take me long to find out who you where either)

I’m no expert myself but the second one is really nice. Would probably look very well as a large print

can I ask you what lense you are using? Usually it’s quite hard to get such a nice DOF with a cheap kit lense

Just the kit lens 18-55 i got with my D40x.

did you scan this in from film?
