I’d have to agree John – I love them all!! I thought the first was my fav looking at them here but after seeing the large versions I think the second one is the winner. If I was to be really pedantic (purely out of jealousy of course!) I’d say that the horizons in the first two is just a touch off level and that would annoy me after paying ?5000 for it :)
I think you’ve done a very good job of capturing it Rob! I have past it many times – thanks for saving me the trouble of driving up to it to find out what its supposed to be :D
John.
P.S. Oh and they’ve been flying hot air baloons around area for the last few weeks I’ve noticed, check out – http://www.balloonflights.ie/balloonflights-launch.php – it might be a little safer than building your own kite :D
I really like the composition and the tones in this one but for me the background is just a little too bright – the area behind the bottom link on the chain looks blown. The only other thing is (and this may only be in my head head) but the bottom of the gate looks soft as if the focus is on the grass behind it?
Thanks Irishshagua – I agree that it would have been nice to have more of the bridge, i’m not sure what was to the left of the water but I remember I had to cut it out of the scene for some reason – American tourists most likely – a bus load had just beaten me there :)
