Might pick up a roll at http://thephotoshop.ie/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;. Have yet to make a purchase from the site. Been thinking of getting a developing kit too but need to learn a bit more first.
Out of curiousity, have you a 120 film that you really like and use often? I have a Lubitel 2 here (haven’t used it yet) that I want to try out.
For the price of the Epson scanner, I think I may be better off selling my film camera and buying a Leica M8. I don’t have a digital camera right now. Shooting film can be hugely rewarding but it’s just that recently it’s kind of like photoblock and I just don’t want/enjoy shooting… I tend to grab the iPhone to take pictures. I have a Pentax K1000 with lenses in need of repair so will get that fixed up and more than likely get an M8.
For the meantime, I am going to bring my camera with me as much as possible. I have loads of film here and would be nice to get through a roll or more a week. I think I need to discipline my shooting and workflow a bit. It has been a steep learning curve this 35mm photography!
Cool best of luck Damian. They certainly are very cool and sought after. I know Daido Moriyama uses them. Ebay might be a better bet for you in that case.
Japan Camera Hunter (Bellamy Hunt) has a few for sale at the moment. I wouldn’t know how much postage would cost. A quick email would find out. He seems to sell a good few Ricohs and is a Ricoh fanuser too. Probably not your cheapest option.. He has a good reputation though and can source some pretty tasty cameras in mint condition.
I would disagree with b/w version because I think it wouldn’t add anything to scenary– I think it’s all about the dusk lightning–

Not really a fan of B&W and this time think it’s all about the lights also, so wouldn’t like to lose them.
Looks like I am a B&W weirdo then  I did a few different B&W conversions and really liked the feel of it. Regardless of picture color, I think it’s a nice photo of cool urban architecture. Well done Sndipo.
