    I have the 40d and i can assure you that its truly a great camera!! Although no movie mode or whatever the noise performance is pretty good up to 800 and even 1600 is use able. Image quality is great so that’s the option i would go for instead of the less proffessional but newer 60d.

    You could also look into a 30d or possibly a 40d if you could stretch it!! These are more of a proffessional type of camera and will be better than the 450d even if they are slightly older.

    This is probably my favourite from last year although its hard to know because i find that my favourite phots are like my favourite songs! I tend to go off them when i take something new !! :lol:

    Ive got one and if i was selling I would be looking for in and around €500 . Jimmy

    I had the same problem with the lens except it stopped at 65mm and 17mm although not pernamently!Luckily I bought mine at conns and when I emailed them about the problem they sent out a replacement within a week. So if you bought yours from a shop they probably should be able to fix/replace it. Hope this helps! Jimmy
