The backgrounds are mostly perfect. Might have been better not to have cut off the left hand side of the first seed head.

Good colours in the last two flowers and all seem to be sharp and in focus.

Did you use a tripod ?

I agree, if the knees were bent if would have improved the shot. Still its not bad at all :)

I like the glow of the sky and the dark clouds at the edges with the house perched on the headland.
Also the reflection from the sand.

Interesting read that. No idea for Ireland.
Have a friend who has submitted to a local paper, received no money
which didnt bother him bit didnt get any mention in the paper either.
