Thanks for the reply.
I never heard of that word either until I went there, Canarian potatoes were on almost every menu tasty too. If you google the word it comes up in plenty of places so seems to be a real word. I don’t think anything can be done about that?? Maybe a different angle of POV?? The thing with the horizon line is that the hills as the go out to the left are actually further away from camera than the hills on the right. I think a polarizer would be a good addition alright, could you recommend any brands that aren’t crazy money.
I don’t know about the YN560 but I have the YN565 and will be looking at getting some of the 560’s for slaves in the future.
The YN 565 is fantastic, I couldn’t be happier with the results the flash gives me. The build quality is also very good. I think the YN560’s are less powerful than the 565 (not sure though) but what a price :) . Is this going to be a slave or a main flash for you? The 565 is about £80 so double the price.
Hope the hints work :D
Let us know your feed back of this flash if you do get it.
also bring a torch with you and gently light up something of interest in the photo (ie. the tree) and see what you think of the results you get from that.
Hi, as you said a portrait lens which i would agree with the other poster you already have with the 50mm and also you 55-300 can be used very well for portraits I would suggest you also think about a speedlight if you haven’t got one already. I got a YN565EX a little while back for about £110 on amazon. It works great with my canon 550D ETTL and all (although I usually use it manually anyway) I don’t think the ETTL works great with Nikon though not sure what camera you have. The difference to your photgraphy a proper flash makes is unbelievable.
Thanks
John
