I have plenty of pictures like that, ones I took that are for me only really. These images that are for me and not to please anyone are mostly kept away from public critique sections of websites/forums. You critique other peoples images on this site so why wouldn’t people critique yours.
Also I don’t mind my picture being taken at all, but if I was sitting in a restaurant with my wife or ??? and some one was sitting there taking my picture with out asking I’d be just a little pisssed off.. Sometimes it’s nice to just ask.
Finish building the darkroom and learn how to print, also want to learn wet plate collodian too. Sounds very interesting. And as already said go fishing..
hmm sounds good! would looove a darkroom . . . someday.
I could sell my 2 motorbikes in the garage and convert it . . .
what bike are you selling?
An old race bike of mine… 1996 GSXR750 SRAD, raced it for a good few years before I got a GSXR1000 race bike when they came out. It’s a hard thing to sell cause of all the work I put into it.. Lightened balanced crank, Carrillo rods, Wiseco pistons blah blah blah.. Have been streetfightering it… but not getting the time to do what I want and to be honest I think I need a slight change. I’ve owned that bike since 1997…
You really don’t need that much space for a darkroom, can be easily set up in a small enough place… And you can get the enlargers trays etc cheap enough.
I’ve a D3s, X100 digital that has been gathering dust for a little while now… They get used maybe once a month.. if even.. My F100 and my Mamiya RZ’s are what I grab now.. after doing Peter’s (momochromemeath) workshop in the Burren this year I’m actually selling one of my motorcycles cause I need the space for a dark room. I only got a digital camera in 07 but never stopped taking my film camera with me.
There is something about, metering the shot, taking your time with it, shooting the roll, developing the roll seeing the negs and soon enough I’ll be able to darkroom print them but for now it’s a scanner..
