    Thanks for the feedback guys

Point taken on the horizon in photo 1

Peter, I took your advice on the 2nd photo and cropped as suggested.

Heres the outcome, which I think works quite well

Pity about your Camera Martin, I’m always afraid something like that will happen on holidays, been lucky so far though!
The heat is something else over there, even in April it was 35-40 degrees everyday!

    Thanks for the C&C

good question, something i was always curious about!

I usually adjust contrast ie curve first, then decide on whether i want to change white balance or not (RAW).

Then color adjustment & finally sharpening.

I was always wondering what is the proper way to approach this.. i guess it varies depending on type of photo and how the camera is set up before you shoot.

I know that when i started shooting in RAW i would be spending hours messing with adjustments! & after a while it does get rather tiresome!

Anyway i would be interested to know other peoples processing sequencing

    Thanks

    Hi Pat
Nice shot there, i’m a big fan of the blurred water shots and this one is really well composed.

i would agree with Rob though, i think it may be slightly over exposed but none the less well done!

One question also folks, i notice a lot of people posting framed photos . This is one tool i have not yet figured out how to apply to my photos.
can anyone point me in the right direction for framing, i have elements and the canon software at my disposal or should i consider an online tool.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers
