Thanks for your reply. It seems to go off focus when tracking a player either coming at me or going across the field on a solo run. The previous owner used it more for landscapes so it wasn’t an issue for him.
We stayed there in 2008. Great place for photography. Did you get to Melchesnie and use the car to get to the mountain top. Massive views there on a fine day
Thanks for the comments – nice to get any comment !!!
Foredom: Shooting Canon 7D & 40D with 300mm F4 and 70-200 F2.8. Took me a while to get the kit but well worth the wait.
Sirvad: Anybody can take them from the stands but for inside you need to get a Photographer’s Pass from a newspaper. Is there a local newspaper you could get onto ?
Seaview: Begor indeed I will !!! – should be a cracker. The endline is the spot lol
Lionsden: Thanks, its difficult enough but if you fire off a few frames on continous mode as he’s about to hit the ball, one will always be on target.
Another little quirk……..
I uploaded photos from the 7D to my PC using my card reader and using “Bridge” from Photoshop. The files are quite large. They are .cr2 files but Photoshop won’t open them. Usually when I upload onto my pc the files change and one can see the photo but it tells me “Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document” ????
