Of course I agree, this is only my opinion, doesn’t mean I’m right or wrong..I suppose everyone is different and likes different things also. But sometimes, I really wonder.

I also agree with what you said about the processing, but in this case I simply feel there were ‘stronger’ photos. But then again- this is my opinion only, there must be a reason why it got voted for and I simply don’t see it.

I am sorry if I offended anyone.

I like these. Specially the first one. I like the way you were able to use so many lovely colours in it.I don’t think they are overprocessed, I think they are just nice. And yes, you can tell they are HDR. If you couldn’t, would they still be HDR ?
Im sure they look even nicer in bigger format.

Seriously ?? I’m sorry and don’t mean to offend anyone but I don’t like it at all. I think there were other pictures that should have won. If this competition is about photoshop skills then this picture is in my opinion showing very little. If at least the model was cut out more precisely as you can see a halo around her !!
I mean, I’m no expert myself, but this is not what I would call a good work. Sorry.

There is another thing that I’m wondering about quite a while now. Are we actually allowed to vote for ourselves ? Or would you guys do that ? I’ve noticed in the past that pictures that were really bad would still get a vote. I can’t imagine how would this happen unless this person voted for themselves.

I like it too, it is very unusual. But maybe you could try to flip it, so that the flowers would be on the right side rather then left. I think it might work better.

thanks guys for all your comments :) I’m glad you like the photo. Is is too bright though ? I was trying to get it just right, but it is so hard to see on my laptop screen.
I agree that the roof on the bottom of the image is a bit distracting so I cropped it some more.

thanks miki g…it makes me really happy that you like the shot… i took it last friday, the sky was nice and blue so I thought it would be shame not to take out the camera. Especially with this kind of weather that we have at the moment… I will try to brighten it ( so tricky to get it right on the laptop screen) and I will get rid of the minibus cause it annoys me too :)

thanks everyone for answers…i suppose I really have to experiment and try different settings…I had no idea that the big f stop could cause the photo to be less sharper. Nobody told me :) Now that I know I will do things differently :) I will also try and turn off the IS. Well, there is still a lot of stuff I have to learn :)

Mark, I could post up an example photo but you can’t really see it unless you zoom in.
