Now that it appears that you have verified that the site has actually stolen your photos – are you willing to let the rest of us know the site so that we can check to see if our photos have also been stolen ?
If you are happy with Aperture – you might be best to look to upgrade it – as I am sure that the latest version of it would support the D4. Otherwise Lightroom will definitely support the Nikon D4 Raw files as per the following link:
Hi – I don’t have a Nikon D4, but you won’t be able to use Photoshop CS4 to modify the Raw files, as the Adobe Camera Raw version which comes with Adobe Photoshop CS4 doesn’t support this camera. Essentially to get the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw (which supports the Nikon D4) you would have to either upgrade to the latest Photoshop version eg: CS6 or you could purchase Adobe Lightroom.
I don’t use Aperture but I am guessing that you might need to have the latest version of it to support the D4 Raw files.
Sorry but it looks like you are going to need to spend a bit more cash :-(
Are these the Dlite IT kits or the older models which do not have the internal remote receiver built in ? If it is the older models then the best that I would offer for the 200/400 kit would be €280 as the newer models are coming in around the €540 to buy new…
Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately the colour version isn’t great at all due to the amount of work that was done to get something from the trip. This was a result of 4 bracketed photographs merged together using the LR/Enfuse plug-in (same as the other black and white photograph that I posted from the Mournes trip). I then used a trial copy of Silver Efex Pro 2 to do the black and white conversion – which I think that it didn’t do too badly with….
