You could check out the Two Hosers podcast (a Hoser is Canadian version of the hurler on the ditch apparently.) They’re two friends, one of them is a pro, teaching his buddy who’s just starting out. The first few episodes are pretty basic stuff (what is aperture etc), but picks up quick enough. Definitely the funniest photo podcast I’ve come across, laugh out loud funny sometimes. It’s pretty much all about technique though, much more useful than the endless sales pitch on TWiP etc. They’re up to about 100 episodes now.
