Hey Guys,
Here are a few more. Your comments are most appreciated and valued. I can see the mistakes I’ve made and will learn from them. Again, none of these have been edited (not even brightened) yet so please take this into account. Any suggestions on editing also most welcome.
For the close up ones (outside of house) I used a canon 50m, all the others I think it was a canon 24-70m 2.8. Any more comments anyone? would love some more comments good or bad.
Thanks Paul. I certainly don’t view them as negative at all. I used fill flash for all if not most of my shots. I posted the one of the guys as I wasn’t happy with the guy on the end. In hindsight, I should have made sure he stood in against the building. Any more suggestions welcome.
Just to update and thank you for all your help. The wedding was yesterday and went really well. Really happy with 99% of the shots. I do need to brighten (slightly) a few so will post those when I get to them . I have come a long way in a month!! Thanks again to all who replied.
Ahh good advice Brian!! The chairman, I’m not trying to get any look just as good photos as I can manage. I was going to stand on the side of the light but was looking at other photographers websites and noticed one photographer seemed to be taking photos from the darker side of a similar church…
Thanks guys. Noel I have planned out what shots I want to use the fisheye for – just about 2 or 3 pics. Have two bodies. One (5d MkII) I’ll use mostly and going to leave the 70-200 on the 50D. What shots do you typically get with that lens for a wedding..I assume just Candids during the ceremony?
Cheers Merv. Met with Dave last saturday and he went through everything. I’m ok now thanks to that and to all your posts. Hopefully all will go well on the day. I’ve been practising like mad since and pics all turning out ok.
