Yip noticed that its absolutely MASSIVE :) so give me a bit of time to figure out how to post my image within the thread like i see so many people do and hopefully its will be then possible to view.
Im afraid after all this hassle it wont be even much to look at….the joys of been a beginner eh
Hey Steve. I really like this shot. But i’ve never seen grand central that quite in all the times i spent there. Mad….I am only new to the site and photography in general and i am just wondering what sort of settings were used to get the peoples shadows/faded effect in the picture. It really gives the picture a sence of time going by, people coming and going. I really like that…
Hey guys thanks for the info. I may hold off purchasing this item from the States and see if i can find a good deal next week in Shanghai. I was out this weekend in Curragh Chase (its a 600 hectare Forrest Park in Limerick) buying my Coillte Christmas Tree, with plenty of of wildlife and beautiful scenery to be had, but i wish i had the above lens with me. It would have come in handy a few times.
I have seen some of the guys here talk about a site on ebay called URGALAXY. I have not purchased anything from them but you may want to take a look at their site and maybe have a look for the fourm chat they had here about them to see what they thought. I cant for the life of me remember where abouts it was though.
Thanks guys, but im afraid to say that i am only renting a house up here in the “Big Smoke” so i will have to take out a seperate policy….I got the 40D Mark so im now gonna take your advice and try and get me some good filters for the landscape shots and lens protection. Really looking forward to getting out there and seeing what she can do :P
Thanks for all the help. AT least now i have an idea on what i get i can go out and purchase. I cant wait. Hopefully i will have it for my trip to NZ this Christmas and will post a few shots in the new year for yer much welcomed C&C
Aaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh and by that i mean, how complicated does your experimenting sound…..
I thinks its a great shot Rob, but im only a beginner….so much so i only have a digital pocket camera but am waiting for my new SLR to arrive so i can do a beginners course…your methodology just boggled my head…maybe i shouldn’t read these posts until i have the course done :D so i have an idea of what ye guys are talking about sometimes…hehehe…
Although im only a beginner i can appreciate a nice shot…Wel done and hopefully some day i will be able to do what ye do and speak like ye speak….someday :D
