very nice, just seems alittle dark to me. could be my monitor though. Good use of foreground interest and depth. Would of been tempered to try a slightly longer exposure

Good potential for a B&W conversion I think. It may be my monitor, but I think there might be a slight green cast on both of these?

same thoughts. Perhaps a high contrast b&w?

Very nice, love the compersition. Did you shoot any with a longer exposure by Chance?

nice location, looks like a place with lots of protential. I’d perhaps try a Panoramic format crop, focusing more on the trees?

Theres a good excuse! Gravitational warp, we’ll go with that one. lol.

More then likey, although i do try to check (most of the time!). (I surpect its the lack of moveability on my Jessops tripod which doesn’t aid much either! )

    Cheers,

Nice, like the colours. Although seems alittle tight with the compersition. would of been nice perhaps to it later in the day.

Good though, keep meaning to do photos with trees, maybe one day.

1 and 3 to me. get exposures and angles. I realy need to get myself a decent (goes lower then 3/4ft) tripod. Perhaps a stronger ND grad for the 4 photo though, the sky seems to be alittle lacking in colour.

Stunning work, talked with a few photographers many times on how the Sea is a highly dramic place to shoot. Great shot. Love the drama and power.

    Keep up the good work.

2,3 and 5 for me. Although im very impressed (i’d call it more Jealously!, lol) Excellent set, great use of compersition, light and DOF in all. From someone who had an “experiment” which was rather rushed with a model on location a few months back, im very impressed.

I use the 10-20mm Sigma, and also F11-F16 also, find it the sharpest points on the lens, esp for landscapes.

As for the lens, if your using landscapes then your going to be using F8 higher mainly, seen some great photos taken with the 17-40mm L but also with the 16-35mm L. I agree with earthairfire said also. All comes down to how much you wanna spend!

    Hey Steve,

I guess if you did enough research etc, you would work it into a 3 day weekend. Although as Richiehatch says, its a huge place. Perhaps just decide on a theme/area to concentre on?
