Well after a few hours or searching, I have found some 127 slide and neg film. You can bid for various types of 127 film on ebay(thanks JB7), some of the film is very old and out of date, which might have some different results. Pricing seems to be between 5 and 10 euro + P&P. There is NEW film out there too, it is supplied by ‘B and H’, NY, but they only have b/w neg in supply at the moment. The film was in production and being made in Croatia until last year. I have also read where someone used 35mm film and an old 127 spool to feed it in the cam. The film might slide around a bit but it is an alternative. (Cheers Kevin) I just ordered some from Vintage film services, a part time business in the uk. Well I hope I can post some images when I get to that stage, thanks all and I hope this helps anyone else looking. Michaeleen

I use the Nikon Super CoolScan5000, and would be happy to let others make use of it (at a nice price).

    Hi
Just wondering did you suspend the panel or was it shot flat? If so how did you arrange your lighting set-up only askin because i recently shot 500 garments for a major clothing company and used a table with light shooting through to give high key white back and then two lights front on to expose the clothes. Took ages to get it about right and then the ones i didnt get spot on just inversed and up the levels outside of the garment.
    Ben :D

I lay the panel down flat and lit it from both ends using a softbox and umbrella. I just bought the lights…my first set 8)
    So, what you think?

They look sharp and correctly exposed.

Cheers Pete. I had another look at your stump, and Im stumped. From a technical p.o.v, you might already be aware, but it could do with a bit of colour balancing. Looking at it with an artistic eye, I think there are some nice shapes within the form of the stump.

They look grand as far as shots of solar panels go, but they’re very small. Could you give us a few pixels more?

Thanks Pete. Well its only brosure images, but if you click on the image is it not better?? Its my first time to post-up something here.

Hey Pete, perhaps you could use a nice overlay layer of some fire/smoke to bring it to life. Nice texture there but it needs something to give it reason, i think.
