Thanks for the help and information regarding the Hasselblad XPAn. Right enough, it is discontinued due to lead content and the EU directive.
The problem I find with stitching in photoshop is a lot of work has to be done in getting correct exposure / brightness etc in different side-by-side shots. I personally believe that all or most of the work should be done inside the camera.
Does it mean if I were to use the lens in the film camera and then:
a) Print the result (to say 10″ by 8″).
b) Crop approx one third on all sides.
c) Enlarge the image again to 10″ by 8″
then the result is similar to using the lens in the DSLR.

The articles deal with both film and digital techniques and the update on equipment is the best in the world. An added bonue sis that you can have twelve monthly editions deleivered to your door for 27 USA dollars.
