Thanks for the reply. I was talking to a friend who is a photographer and he recommended the Canon to me as he uses Canon. Although I was leaning towards the Nikon for the simple fact my brother has a Nikon D40 with some different lenses so I could use them without having to purchase any. So I’m slightly unsure which to go for still.

Seen this camera on this website yesterday and thought that it seems good value for money. Has anyone had any experience with this particular camera in the past ? And more importantly has anyone dealt with this crowd before. Or any other places to get a entry level dslr for €300-€400 new or even 2nd hand.

Thanks a million I’ll email them because I’d say it would cost a bomb to call them. Like I said it’s only the 1st couple of threads that are worn but the tripod or monopod wont attach so I cant use them with the camera now.

Cheers guys like the saying goes you learn from your mistakes. I may not have a whole lot of time to take pictures with the mocks coming up soon but whenver I do have time I’ll deffinately be out taking pictures next thing is to find some new things around town. I’m kind of limited as to what I can take photos of as I’m not driving just yet.

I was just looking there if it is in auto I can’t change the ISO should I be able to change it or is it only changable in certain modes ?
