I have to say, I don’t really like the lens flares in the first shot. Third shot is a real cracker though.

I really like the second one. Great conversion, great composition. Love the lighting across the customer’s back.

The first one I wish you had gotten a bit lower, but then perhaps you would have been spotted, which may be why it was taken from eye level :)

I feel like much more could have been done with these bikes… as it stands, this feels very snapshot-ish to me, unfortunately. Was it foggy out? It seems a bit washed out.

The first shot is a really fantastic shot. Great composition, lovely framing with the tree along the top. The second shot doesn’t really do anything for me, unfortunately.

Firstly, you should put these into the street section.

    Says who?

Well, these are pretty clearly “street” shots. Of course, having said that, the description of this section also mentions candid shots as well, so the confusion is understandable.

Personally, I like the picture of the girl as well. Just something about her shot clicks with me, I don’t know why.

Cheers for the comments folks. Brandyman, I hear ya with respect to the telescope in #1… Although it wasn’t a case of “failure to look around the viewfinder” syndrome… at least not in this shot. This one was actually just a case of messing around before changing locations (we had been using the telescope as a prop) that resulted in a decent-ish shot – at least of Roslyn, if not the background :)

Great shot… her eyes are stunning!
