Great shot nippy nice reflection on the wet sand
This could make a nice mono also with that sky
only niggle is right center of the image with something sticking out of the sand

Thanks Cathald, I had converted this mono but was unsure. That thing sticking out of the sand seems to be some kind of rusty cable wire. It’s been there a while. Perhaps I should have clone it out.

or is that a very big foal for two days old?

Thanks for comment shutterbug. The owner told me at the time that the foal was only two days old

Beautiful image cathald. I like the composition.

I’d like to see a copy with the black cloud on the top right cropped out.

It’s looks a bit crooked Nippy… and maybe could do with a bit of rotation… clockwise.

It’s pleasant enough… colours haven’t been pushed too far which we see from time to time with this woodland type shots.

I just feel that the composition could be improved by maybe getting in closer to that larger rock on the bottom right and perhaps using this as an focal point which the composition can flow through. Might also help balance out the image, which seems a bit heavy on the left hand side.

Cheers nfl-fan, appreciate your comment. I’ve rotated it 3 deg’s clockwise. I know what your saying about getting closer to the rock. I keep forgetting to buy myself a pair of welly’s. I only had shoes on that day & I hate getting my little feet wet.

Nice shot and lots of interest.
The light is very good and I like the glow off the white houses.
A quick noise reduction on the sky or quick blur would help

Excellent shots from everyone. The very best of luck to all. This is my first time entering, a bit of the sky is blown out near the left of the image but I’m not to worried. As brownie said, the best entry doesn’t always win!
