Thank you so much for your detail explanation/knowledge of the df.
I am a little reluctant to go off & spend that money just in case I’d find it much different then the larger SLR’s especially when using as a professional you sorta wonder what your client may think when you produce this bit of gear.
The whole thing sounds good bar the af which is something we guys need in most circumstances..
I like the weight specially when carrying two cameras…none of us getting any younger..!!
Your a splendid chap and many thank for your detailed advice much appreciated.
Can I be so bold as to ask how are you finding the new Nikon DF ??
Have you being using the Standard heavy D-SLR just wondering how it feel to handle as I am thinking of buying the df sometime this year.
Sorry don’t need the lens but you will have no problem sifting that item.
Hi,
I don’t fully understand why you are selling this Pro Camera especially
as you must be a pro Photographer to even own one.
Have you had it serviced by Nikon yet.
What mainly have you been shooting..
You know the new price here they have come down a little ..
Where are you based.
I would like to buy if everything is in order.
Your price is too high though perhaps you can email me all the details as above & what is your best Cash Price is please. joetravers2gmail.com

It would have be nice to acknowledge my offer on your equipment for sale even though
it may not have been what you expected.
When you go public with “For Sale” items everybody is not going to reach your expectations perhaps in first offer but sheer politeness
cost nothing.
I hope the Moderator from this site Mark will take note.
I have familiarized myself with Google but too no avail.
Was hoping some of you guys might use this style of presentation pack.
You operate a large photography business so do you use memory sticks for your clients or is CD’s/DVD the best way to continue.
Any guidance on this is appreciated.
So far I use CD’s/DVD’s but seem to see these sticks being used with logo & was wondering if they can be presented in presentation style.
JK Photography,
My bets are the higher number..
But if your a Pro and need things to work properly & not get caught out on a job its best you spend that money & have lens repaired & as good as new..
I had to spend €30 to send my lens with courier but now I know some couriers will take a package for €10.
One thing for sure you want your equipment to work perfectly & have back up if getting paid for a job…
because bad vibes spread very fast to other prospective clients….you don’t want that …
Hi JK Photography,
Well I have had a similar experience only a few weeks ago.
I use SLR Repair Centre in Meath which is the only repair for Nikon.
The experience is very professional courtesy & probably a little pricey..
Now you have to courier your lens to them then before they repair they call you with repair price…
They are very efficient & repair is professional standard under the guidelines of Nikon UK.
As far as I know when you engage a courier you are insured should any loss occur.
NOTE: your repair cost will be a lot less then going out to Conns/Birminghams & purchasing new or used lens…
If you need further information give me a shout.
Is this what you are selling please…

Geraldd,
That is exactly what I am going to do I think, talk to the local Mac people because as you suggest I may loose some working software which I need.
I have been talking to a guy who also tells me that I cannot upgrade my current iMac (4years old) Version 10.5.8
There is no facility to add extra chip in this model….do you know about that?
