This is the older version without the built in skyport receiver and cooling fan. You are looking for €600, that’s the same price for a brand new D4 IT kit. With that in mind, I can offer €300 pending inspection.
Very well done Paul. The first is excellent. Really is tack sharp for a high motion shot. Not easy to time this. Even if you know the flower will probably get visited at some time. The wait is excruciating. Is he landing or taking off?
The second one has a bit too much glare from the flash on the fly itself. But the image is again tack sharp. Pity the leaf on the bottom obscures it a little.
I like this shot. It’s got a cross processed look to it. He looks like he’s been playing cricket back in the old days. :) As mentioned above, His eyes need to be sharpened and maybe brightened a little. Plus a couple of distractions in the background could be cloned out.
RAS thanks, I totally agree with everything you said…. lol :)
Ola thanks for the comment. Good luck with your endeavors. Hope it turns out well for you. :)
5faythe, 21st book, what an excellent idea. :) No doubt the one you did of your son was a lot more difficult to create using limited tools compared to what we have these days in the digital world. Btw, Still have to do the print.
Both images are excellent. They have a timeless look about them. I like the second one better, probably because of her expression. There’s more of a connection with you and it looks a bit more spontaneous. The contrast and colour in the first is slightly more appealing.

The look of this pic is aided by the skilful choice and use of the tools; – not achieved despite them :)
How could you construe what I said as meaning that? :| …. :)
Shes a very pretty lady and connects with the camera very well. On board flash is a bit dazzling. How low was the light in the room. Did you need to use flash? Did you add a vignette or is that the rapid falloff of the flash?
I like both. The brush shapes maybe look a bit too elementary. Though I’m sure she loves them. I like the first shot and her expression is very good. She is obviously enjoying herself. Her skin looks a bit off in the second shot.
I get ya Doug. Resembling reality is enough for it to be accepted by the brain as being quite normal. I think in painters circles it would be called Artistic Licence. :)
Connie, thanks for taking the time to comment. The idea just evolved from 40 individual shots, I’m just glad it turned out so well after all the effort I put into it.
Denis. Thanks for your reply. The intention is to print it and hang it on her bedroom wall. I use an Epson R2400. I just need to afford the money for a roll of paper. :)
Doug. Your input is appreciated. The image is obviously all about the expressions. Indeed, it works well without the photo realistic PP. But I have lots of images where it looks realistic. :)
Si. Thanks for the comment. I wanted to push this a bit further than I have with anything in the past. So it had to be bold and contrasty.
Btw, Here is the full image that will be printed for her bedroom wall. I’ve composited lots of other elements in to go with her expressions.Click on the image for the full size (1.7mb 5970x1024px).
