I usually use Hama filters for the screw in filters as they’re relatively cheap and I go through a lot of them whilst using the genuine Canon one for a drop-in. You can still use a Circ-Pol with a lens hood, it’s just a bit more fiddly to rotate them is all.
A circular polarizer is a must for motorsport photography but it also makes a difference your position relative to the sun. Also certain competition cars have a finish on the windscreen or the windscreen is raked in such a way that a polarizer doesn’t make a difference. It’s pretty rare though !
That’s just a standard initiation for a pro level driver in Prodrift, the first sector is run backwards down the hill and into Honda with most drivers achieving around 90 degree’s of angle before the apex :)
I’m now including an 18-55 Canon lens, a 2GB CF card and I’ve reduced the price to 700 o.n.o.
I’m ordering a 5D MKII shortly so need for this to go ! Perfect camera for someone who wants to start into digital photography or for an advanced user looking to upgrade their gear !
And I’d be upset if you didn’t offer honest advice :)
I’ve actually spent the last hour or so, adjusting that first shot, I brought in the original sky from the RAW exposure, and darkened the glass a bit aswell. I removed the text of the Supreme Fuels sign but not the sign itself. TBH, I don’t feel comfortable adding more blur there when it isn’t in the original. I had a hard time getting some slow exposures (This was 1/2 a second with two Circ polarizers and at F22, ISO100)
Let me know what you think ?
As for the second one, I’ve already addressed that darkness in a more recent edit but just don’t have it to hand, I definitely agree with you on that one though !
