Thanks Brian. If you get them early in the morning/late evening when its cool the will allow you to approach really close. This was about 7am.

Thanks. I did some noise reduction in post processing. But the AF and ISO are much improved. Huge upgrade from my 40D.

Thanks Paulo. I applied very little sharpening. The Canon 400mm lens is extremely sharp and the light was harsh giving extremely sharp photos.
I also find that photos uploaded to this forum tend to look crisper than usual.
