Alos have a look at outdoorphoto.co.za some very good photos on ther with EXIF info attached. Also search forums for advice. Hope this helps.

Prefer image 2. Overall I feel it just works better. The hedge definitely is a distraction in 1 and I dont think the water works in 3.

I really like number 2. The colours in the fallen leaves contrasting the green in the tress. The “bridge” also adds interest to the photo!

Thanks guys. Brian, I had waited for a good long time for this shot. The tide had to be just right, too high and the rocks were gone , to low and there’d be footprints everywhere. The tide also had to coincide with a sunset to one side, as we’ll as having a horizon with not too much cloud on it. I have a good couple more and will post the best 1 or 2 towards the weekend.
