Well….after wearing out some shoe leather in Shinjuku in various shops I ended up picking up something small in the old reliable MAP.

For new gear there are some savings and if you get lucky (as I seem to have with my purchase) there are some decent second hand deals.
But, by and large, the second hand prices seem to be in line with what we can get here.

But maybe I missed the ‘real bargain shop’….

‘Smoke Break’ and ‘Just Arrived’ for me.

I just ‘want to know more’ about the story in both!

The SPire seems to be a bit of a ‘problem’ for captures as commented on in an earlier Spire shot this week.
It almost looks photoshopped in!

I tend to agree with Jenny on the dark foreground.

If the clouds we’re so dark it may be different.

I too like the telegraph poles.

In any case lovely pic!

Supposed to be lovely away from Summer. It hit 47C one of the days we were there. A tad too hot.

If you do go again, the Desert Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit.
