Love these! They’re great to be honest. I really like the microphone in the first pic, could give some artsy-phartsy reasoning, but I’ll just leave it at I like it. And I like the diagonal section of the roof in the third. Kind of roots the viewer, rather than having 4 floating heads.

Lovely technique and work though!

I can see what you mean about the clutteredness, and unfortunately they aren’t cropped, so I can’t correct them. It’s a hard venue to shoot at due to the strobe lighting, and the fact that the band is at the same level as meself, so it’s hard to get dynamic shots.

Cheers for the advice, I kinda like the lights though, just a personal preference I suppose. I also tend not to what PS my photos, only for cropping really, unless some editing is completely necessary or I’m going for a particular look etc. Thanks tho for the tip, greatly appreciated!

No. 3 for me too. However, just a thought (I’m no expert, barely an amateur) but I think that on the second pic if you cropped and/or edited the red clouds out, that it’d make a very nice photo. I dunno, I just think the silhouette would contrast with that beautiful sunset.

I really like this photo, brings back fond memories. You captured it really well.

It’s a great place for an aul’ session.
