I really like the muted tones too… the only really thing that stands out at me is the shadow/smile line shadow she has just beside her mouth. It could be easily cloned out and I think would make her expression a bit more serene.
Hmmm curious to see that no one has voted for ModelMayhem so far as I thought this would be one of the most popular ones…
Am I wrong? Any thoughts anyone?
I think the problem must be to do with my Photoshop “profile” as my monitors calibration is fine (though I’m sure a recalibration couldn’t hurt).
Thanks for the help Joseph. The whole profiling process is something I’ll have to try and get my head around.
Until I do I’ll take screen shots of my Tiffs and save then as Jpegs that Ill use for web so in a way posting this problem has given me a temporary solution!
Thanks Joseph…
It might sound like a silly question but how do I go about getting my monitor profiled?
Also… I got my photos printed in Conns and saw one of them on their monitor before it was printed and the colours looked good and warm on their monitors too but then printed out dull.
I really like the first shot here esp.
In regards to the colour.. I think they could so with being punchier int he second one as it’s fruit and they loose some of their ‘juiciness’ by looking duller.
However I think the colours are spot on for the top dessert. Very cosy and warm and homely while also looking elegant.
She’s a very striking model!
I like the glow off her skin.
If I was to give one small bit of advice is would be be carefull of too much hair on her shoulders. I know you seem to be going for a messy hair look but I think in the second shot the hair on the shoulders takes away from her expression.
This is a stunning shot.
I’ve looks through tons of shots today in this category as I hadn’t checked it in a while and this is my favourtie by far. It ticks all the right boxes for me.
