it helped, definitely :D
Thanks,
I’ll be returning, it’s only 5 min from my place.
I have no filters… and I am very bad with photoshop :(
Thanks to all,
I think at this place, it is about 8 miles to get to the other shore , I would need big lenses to get rid of the water :)
A friend of mine has the 18-200 VR.
Overall, he’s really happy… the only drawback is the aperture/ slow focusing.
I am not to sure…
1: it would be true on a wide angle 2: would depends on the distance of what you shoot ?
Did you ever consider the 120-300 F2.8 sigma ?
You can check the Fred miranda reviews.
I have a 120-300 F2.8 Sigma and a 70-200 F2.8 Sigma and I am really happy with those 2 :D
I got my Nikon SB 600 and sigma 70-200 F2.8 from hk-digi when I was still leaving in Ireland.
They are very good.
I just got it..
If you got acquaintance in USA, you can have it for half price at sigma4less.com.
I got my first shot last Saturday, using the TC 1.4 You can find my pics here

Excellent shots :D do you use a mono pod ? cos that is a heavy lens
Excellent !
Many thanks for your kind comments.
It happens I just learned how to adjust how to correct the slope when the photographer was leaning on one side…
Also, english is not my first language ( I am French) what did you mean about the barrel stuff ?
As for the second one, I have no ideas as how to play with curves… I have PS but I barely can use it
OK then, I’ll try. I am also part of 2 other photo forums. I’ll try to keep you posted.
Thanks for your kind messages :P
Thank you all :D How would you shoot, having more light on the aigle but not over exposing the white part ?
(no reflector, right Aidan  ?)
Thanks Rob :)
This was in captivity, in France. http://www.aigles-de-beaucaire.com/pages_UK/mainuk.html I need to work on my camouflage and techique of approach to be able to get a similar shot in the wild ;)
